1. Press and hold the power button for 3–5 seconds to power on the radio.
2. Wait 20–60 seconds after startup. The device will automatically search and register to local US 4G LTE cellular network.

It usually takes 20–35 seconds in urban areas; up to 60 seconds in suburbs or indoor environments.

1. When the signal icon and "Online/Group" status appear on the screen, the network connection is ready.
2. Select your talk group. Press and hold the side PTT button to speak; release it to listen.
