Let’s be honest, life is a relentless game of notifications, spreadsheets, self-improvement podcasts, and strangers on the internet telling you to “optimize your morning.” You don’t need another productivity hack. You need a nap, a snack, and for everyone to stop asking you what your five-year plan is.
This book is not here to help you get more done.
It’s here to help you do less. Way less. Possibly nothing.
Zen and the Art of Doing F*ckng Nothing is your unapologetic permission slip to check out, log off, and lower the bar until it’s gently resting on the floor. Through 31 delightfully unmotivational chapters, you’ll explore the ancient art of canceling plans, disassociating in cozy pants, and pretending to meditate while actually thinking about cheese.
Inside, you’ll find zero life hacks, no vision boards, and absolutely no pressure to become your best self. What you will find is painfully honest, laugh-out-loud commentary on the modern struggle to “be present” when you’d honestly rather be horizontal, plus a few deeply spiritual reflections on why getting nothing done might be the most enlightened thing you do all week.
If you’ve ever yelled “I’m fine!” while lying face down in a laundry pile, accidentally soul-searched in a parking lot, or achieved temporary inner peace from a bag of kettle chips, welcome. You’ve found your people.
Light a candle. Cancel your goals. Let’s do F*ckng nothing; together, beautifully, and on purpose.
