Q: Can you swim in 100% wool?

A: Yes! 100 years ago, an estimated 90-95% of swimsuits were made out of wool! Merino wool dries quickly and is naturally antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-fungal. This merino suit was designed specifically for the sauna and cold plunge but you may also wear it to the pool, the beach, and anywhere else you would wear a regular bikini.

Q: Is it chlorine-safe?

A: Short answer, yes. This suit was optimized to be made from 100% natural fiber and was not optimized for chlorine resistance. That being said, with proper care and hand washing after swimming, this suit will last you many, many wears across all seasons.

Q: How do I wash wool?

A: Our merino wool is 100% non-superwash wool and WILL shrink and felt if washed on hot or put in the dryer. Please handwash gently with a light wool specific detergent and lay flat in shade to dry.

Q: Can I throw it in a machine washer?

A: It is most recommended to hand wash with cool water or to use machine "hand wash" setting on cool and delicates laundry bag (provided). Life hack: hand wash in the shower after using and voilà the suit is washed!

Q: Does wool shrink?

A: Yes and no. Merino wool is a thinner fiber and is less prone to shrinking like normal wool. However it is normal for merino to shrink 0-3% even with proper care (little to negligible difference). This was factored into the creation of the size chart so a size S is still expected to fit size S after repeated washing.
