Stitched Airway Buffing Wheels for Precision Metal Polishing

Stitched Airway Buffing Wheels are built for precision metal polishing. Their compact, tightly bound fibers offer increased stiffness and durability, giving you better control, longevity, and superior results versus regular airway wheels.

This tighter stitching delivers a more intense polishing experience, especially for users seeking precision and long-lasting buffing wheels.

Dimensions: 9" Inch Diameter

Color Guide by Metal Type:

• Aluminum: Use Orange & Yellow Wheels
• Stainless Steel: Use Red & Pink Wheels
• Final Finish (Both Metals): Use UBM or Flannel Wheels

️ Edge Buffing Technique:

Use the edge of the wheel* for a sharp, controlled finish. Best when paired with an angle grinder, proper wheel, and compound.

Ideal Wheel Size:

The 9" Stitched Airway Buffing Wheel offers the best blend of control and durability for most applications.

Compound & Buffing Wheel Combinations:

For Aluminum:
• Step 1: Orange Wheel + Brown Tripoli
• Step 2: Yellow Wheel + Green Rouge

For Stainless Steel:
• Step 1: Red Wheel + Black Magic
• Step 2: Pink Wheel + Yellow Deluxe
• Final: White Wheel + Blue Rouge (≤ 2,200 RPM)

For Tight Areas:

Use small Spiral-Stitched Buffing Wheels with appropriate compounds to reach wheel lips, edges, and hard-to-reach spots.

Buffing Wheel Rake Usage:

To maintain performance, rake your wheel regularly. This removes hardened compound buildup that causes poor polish quality and heat spots. If you see less metal dust, it’s time rake.

How to Rake:
While the wheel is spinning, press the rake gently against it using your feet or bench. Remove excess buildup, then reapply compound for peak results.
